fujiIt is an old cultivated variety coming from Japan where it is still diffused and appreciated. The Fuji apple begun to spread in Europe only in the 80s.

The fruit is of medium-large size, has got a yellow colour with orange streaks or is “washed out” with red nuances.

The pulp is hard, fine, crisp, light fragrant, sweet, little acid, with a pleasant taste; moreover it grows with a slow maturation, after that one of the Granny Smith apple.

The picking up takes place during the second half of October; the apple keeps a long time.
