grannysmithIt is an old dated variety of Australian origin that has had moments of strong expansion in Europe.

The fruit is of medium-large size, spheroid, inimitable for typology and quality: green, with a light waved and “waxen” peel.

The pulp is crisp, juicy, acidulous, pleasant and discreetly fragrant. The conservation is and remains excellent for ten months.

The picking up takes place towards the half or the end of October; the maturation process begins at least one month after the picking up.
