It is a triploid variety, probably of French origin.
The fruit is large, asymmetric, ribbed, with a yellow-greenish peel (suffused in particular with a light red pigmentation in the areas of Trentino); moreover the peel is wrinkled for the presence of extended “rustiness” and there are some big and evident pores.
The pulp is cream white, tender, fusing, sugary, acidulous, rather aromatic and with elevated gustatory characteristics.
The picking up begins towards the half of September.
