It comes from China and it is diffused particularly in Italy - the first between the producing countries - and in the Mediterranean area in more or less temperate zones thanks to the different “chilling” needs. The peach-tree is the most important and studied drupaceous tree for its cultivation’s aspects, with numerous innovations connected to the branch of the varieties, “ipobionte” and cultivation’s practices, from the pruning to the defence. |
